DENVILLE, NJ -- TAPinto columnist and author Mark Di Ionno will be speaking about his new novel, Gods of Wood & Stone, and signing books at the Denville Public Library on Diamond Spring Road on Tuesday March 12 at 7 p.m.

His novel, Gods of Wood & Stone, has been described as "the next Great American Novel about the Great American Pastime—The Natural with echoes of Ford, Updike, DeLillo and Roth."

The book is about two men from disparate worlds and their search for what constitutes a meaningful life and has been called "a searing portrait of honor and masculinity, sport and celebrity, marriage and parenthood ...framed by the lens of baseball, this novel is a timeless, but strikingly singular tale of the responsibilities of manhood and the pitfalls of glory in a painful and exhilarating story that’s distinctly American."
