DENVILLE, NJ – Morris Knolls boys varsity lacrosse defeated Roxbury, 5-1, at home on Thursday, April 11.

John Hardie led the way for Morris Knolls with two goals in the fourth quarter. A.J. Head, Arjun Sinha and Chris Marra contributed one each.

While the Golden Eagles went scoreless in the third quarter, that’s when Nick Thomas scored Roxbury’s sole goal.

Morris Knolls goalie Nicky LaBanca ended the game with seven saves, for a total of 44 saves so far this season. Jacob Martinelli earned 10 saves for Roxbury.

Having lost just one game this season, the Golden Eagles look to extend their winning-streak to five when they travel to Kittatinny on Saturday, April 13. The game starts at 10 a.m. is a member of the New Jersey Press Association and is a hyperlocal news site that serves residents, organizations and business owners of Denville, New Jersey.
