DENVILLE, NJ – Less than one week ago, Denville Mayor Thomas Andes welcomed Butter & Velvet Home with a ribbon-cutting on Oct. 4. Owned and operated by sisters Kelly Daab and Michaeline Fernandez, the home and design store is the newest business to open shop on Broadway. Formerly located on Diamond Spring Road and First Avenue, the store’s Broadway location is larger and offers better exposure, according to Daab.

At Butter & Velvet, patrons can find unique home furnishings, artwork, jewelry and accessories, and receive custom interior design services.

“We’ve been in Denville for two years,” Daab said. Establishing a business in Denville made sense, she shared, because her sister, who lives in Boonton, adopted Denville as “her downtown” due to its convenient proximity to friends from surrounding towns like Mountain Lakes.

“We love it here,” beamed Daab, who is a Summit resident.

The store is open every day of the week except Monday.
