DENVILLE, NJ - Three people accused of burglarizing a Nassau County, N.Y. jewelry store were nabbed by police in Denville on Saturday after being spotted inside a local jeweler's store, police said.

The trio, Bernard Bell, 54, Josuf Pryce, 52 and India Stokes, 53, were arrested after leaving Tony's Jewelers on Broadway, said Denville police in a statement. "Denville Police received information that the ... defendants were shopping at Tony's Jewelers for an extended period of time," police said. "During this time, they were believed to match the descriptions of three individuals who had committed a large jewelry store burglary in Nassau County, New York."

Denville police said the suspects were charged after a "motor vehicle stop" subsequent to police confirming they matched the descriptions of the Nassau County burglars. Each person was charged with conspiracy to commit theft, conspiracy to commit burglary, hindering apprehension and shoplifting, police said.

The defendants were placed in Morris County jail after being charged, police said.
