DENVILLE, NJ-- A new face has recently joined the folks at the Denville Library. Siobhan Koch joined the Denville Library team in March of 2016 and has been driving the library to new heights since.

Koch, a resident of Parsippany, has plenty of library experience, starting from working in the library when she attended Iona College. After earning her degree in economics, she decided to pursue library science as a career.

"I really liked working in the library in college, so I went with it!" Koch said.

She earned her Masters in Library Science from St. John's University and after working in mulitple libraries, she started at Denville with a full plate this year. One of her first tasks is the strategic planning for the next years.

"Beginning Sept. 12, a strategic planning survey will be sent out. From there we will have focus groups to find out what the library can do better and things people wish we would offer," Koch said.

While Siobhan is still fairly new to the Denville Library, she has already seen the support of the township and community when the need arises.

"The town support and the people here are wonderful. I hope I can help make the library meet the needs of the community," Koch said.
