DENVILLE, NJ - Doors open at 6:30 p.m. today (March 22) for the annual Mike Leone Wheelchair Basketball game, a charity event at Morris Catholic High School sponsored in part by the Denville Police Athletic League.
The game will feature the Wheelchair Basketball Sports Federation's Brooklyn Nets. The federation is a national, non-profit organization that provides opportunities for disabled and wheelchair-bound adults and youths to play sports recreationally and competitively.
At the game, there will be prizes, raffles and music. Tax deductible donations will be accepted.
Mike Leone was a pioneer of wheelchair basketball and an advocate for the sport.
