DENVILLE - A Newark man stole more than 60 gallons of used cooking oil last month, according to police.
The man, Michael Molina 19, was arrested Feb. 2 and charged with theft of movable property, Denville police reported. They said the investigation that led to Molina's arrest began on Jan. 17, when they received a report about the missing oil.
Police said they were told 67 gallons of the used oil was missing from a cooking oil recycling center behind the Denville Square complex. Further details about the case were not provided, but police said Molina was released pending an appearance in court.
