All of this is typical for this time of year. We want to make more with our lives. There is a natural urge to plant and get in contact with Mother Earth. Visiting parks to enjoy the beauty of flowering trees, shrubs or spring flowers is a natural reaction for our need to re-charge the batteries of our soul.
Denville has the fortune of having a committee of volunteers that has been creating an environment of beauty and attraction. While the enjoyment of beauty is rewarding, creating and involvement has even greater rewards. The camaraderie among our members is more than casual. The exchange of ideas and the awareness of a community is real. This phenomena has been noticed by other towns. Our advice is being sought which is proof that we are on the right track.
Our activities have given Denville an appearance and reputation of being a beautiful town, but much more needs to be done and your participation is needed. Gardening is therapy; your rewards are immediate.
To join the committee is easy; just call Irene at Denville Town Hall: (973) 625-8300 x290.
