DENVILLE, NJ - Senior midfielder Nicky DiMaggio knocked in a cross from senior striker Aedan Joel in overtime to culminate a return from a three-goal deficit and give Chatham a 4-3 boys soccer victory over Morris Catholic in its season opener on Wednesday.

Morris Catholic had taken a 3-0 lead 10 minutes into the second half, but two straight goals by junior Jameson Shi cut it to 3-2 for Chatham before junior Nick Kaisand connected for a goal that tied the game, 3-3, with 10 minutes left in regulation.

"In overtime, Aeden Joel made a great run to beat two defenders and delivered a cross to Nicky DiMaggio, who finished at the far post for the OT victory," Chatham coach Mark Maka said. "Aeden and Nicky are both seniors and were instrumental in helping lead the comeback."
