LITTLE FALLS, NJ – Brian Brodeur is joined by Andrew Lepley, the longtime Director of Photography at East Main Media. The two spoke about Lepley’s longtime collaboration with Brodeur and his work with the team at East Main Media.

Typically working behind the camera, Lepley joked about being a guest on TAPintoTV. “This is an odd place for me and also makes me very uncomfortable.”

Lepley embraced the position as the Director of Photography after an extensive career in still photography, and was eager to contribute to East Main Media productions. “I didn’t come out of film school, I had been a stills photographer for probably 30 years,” he explained. Lepley was first introduced to Brodeur years earlier while working on high-profile music DVD projects. “You were doing stills and frankly, we weren’t in the business of filming stuff, so we embarked on that together,” said Brodeur.

The opportunity to join the East Main Media team was very inspiring for Lepley, and for Brodeur, it was exciting to have someone on the team who was ready to work at a high-level. “This is what we are doing, this is what we need from you - get in there and do it,” Lepley recalled.

With the COVID-19 pandemic changing the way that East Main Media Studios produces content, Lepley recognized the trust that Brodeur put in him and noted how production has become a one-man job. “It’s been a real thrill for me to know that I can come in and take up these extra responsibilities and keep this thing going,” he explained.

Lepley has been involved in hundreds of projects with the East Main Media team including filming Keith Urban in Nashville, Randy Jackson in Los Angeles, dozens of multi-camera PBS projects and countless topical TAPintoTV interviews. Brodeur revealed that throughout Lepley’s time at East Main Media, he has always been a dedicated and trusted team member. “When a request comes your way, the answer we always get is: not a problem” said Brodeur.
