For over 36 years the Woman’s Club -Denville/Rockaway and Morris Knolls’ Varsity Club have been partnering to bring Christmas to local children.   The Woman’s Club set-up 9 “Wish Trees” this holiday season and collected over 300 gifts to support local families. The following businesses in the Denville, Rockaway and Boonton areas participated:  Bridges to Learning & Bright Horizons Child Care Centers, Beignets, investor Bank, Provident Bank, Picatinny Federal Credit Union, 46 West Hair Studio and Fulton Bank.

The Varsity Club students raised money that the Woman’s Club used to purchase gifts that were requested by Denville, Rockaway and Boonton Social Services, but were not selected on the Wish Trees.  Gifts were also purchased and given to St. Clare’s Crisis Center, Family Intervention and Homeless Solutions.

A huge thank you to all the businesses, schools, and banks that sponsored the Wish Trees and also to all the patrons of these locations that generously donated many toys, gifts and gift cards. A special thank you to Zurich Insurance who donated 25 gifts towards our Wish Trees project.
