DENVILLE, NJ -- Peggy Gray was a former member of the GFWC Woman's Club of the Denville-Rockaway Area and a very active volunteer in Denville. Recently, her memory was honored by both the club and the town of Denville.

Six women from the Club-planted a tree at the Muriel Hepner park, located in Denville, while the town of Denville dedicated a new bridge at the park to honor Peggy’s volunteerism.

Planting a tree for Arbor Day was one of the seven grand initiatives of the GFWC President Mary Ellen Brock. The Denville–Rockaway Area Woman’s Club was able to participate in that initiative by not only planting a tree, but also dedicating it to Peggy’s memory.
