DENVILLE, NJ -- Again, this year, the GFWC Woman’s Club Denville-Rockaway Area Easter Basket Project helped brighten the holiday for local children. Denville and Rockaway Social Services requested a total of 58 baskets. The Woman’s Club was able to provide 60 baskets, plus many large bags of candy, as well as, eight baskets for St. Peter's Orphanage.

The Woman’s Club wishes to thank all those who helped make this project such a success! Zurich Insurance Carrier supplied 60 chocolate bunnies! There was an overwhelming amount of in-kind donations from our local community. Many Woman’s Club members, not only helped collect items, but sorted and assembled the baskets. Others helped deliver the completed baskets to the Social Services offices, and still others provided a place to work and food/snacks to eat while making the baskets.

It’s true it does take a village…and this project made a difference to more than 60 local children. Thank you one and all!
