DENVILLE, NJ – Morris Knolls girls lacrosse attempts to reboot its winning streak today following its first loss of the season against New Providence, 19-16, on the road on Saturday, April 20.

Although Emily Mitarotonda netted five goals and dished out one assist for the Golden Eagles, her efforts were not enough to pull off a victory against New Providence.

Mackenzie Furlong collected four goals for Morris Knolls. Brianna Mennella earned two, and Brielle Gavito, Cassie McGreevy and Kira Mennella managed one goal apiece for Knolls. Furlong totaled two assists.

New Providence’s Kaitlyn Cumiskey and Reagan Wawzycki scored five goals each.
