MORRIS PLAINS, NJ -- The HOPE ONE van will be stationed at the Morris Plains Train Station on Jan 11 form 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. The train station is located at Speedwell Avenue and US 202 in Morris Plains.
The HOPE ONE vehicle, previously used in police tactical operations, is now a mobile recovery access vehicle. It has trained staff on site and provides individuals with information about rehab, detox services, mental health services and recovery services. The HOPE ONE team will offers free Narcan training.
Decorated with a purple ribbon to signify recovery, the van blends law enforcement and social services in helping to prevent drug overdoses and deaths.
