DENVILLE, NJ – Morris Knolls boys varsity baseball defeated Parsippany, 8-4, at home on Thursday, April 11.
Notching his second win of the season, Michael Kaiser gave up three hits and four earned runs over six innings. Chris Fritz threw six pitches to end the game.
Morris Knolls led the game with two runs in the first inning and never looked back. The team scored all eight runs by the end of the fourth (two in the first, two in the second and four in the fourth).
Going three for four, Brayan Acevedo recorded three hits, one RBI and one run in the win. Six other Morris Knolls players got hits off Parsippany’s pitching. Chris Chegwidden nailed two, and Kaiser, Fritz, Sean Beller, Jon Blum and Pat Gallagher connected on one each.
The 3-2 Golden Eagles will host West Morris Central on Friday, April 12, at 4 p.m.
