Pleased with the team’s decisive victory, Morris Knolls Head Coach Tim Kepler affirmed that it was a much-needed win. “We played as a team all three periods and limited our mistakes. We also had a lot of energy on the bench.”

As for the low-penalty game for both teams, Kepler attributed it to good officiating and well-disciplined teams.

"Our two penalties in the second period changed the momentum for them. Fortunately, we found ways to go hard in the third period and buried pucks."

Morris Knolls faces Roxbury on Saturday, Jan. 12, at 8:15 p.m. at Mennen.
