DENVILLE, NJ – Morris County residents are invited to learn about diverse fields of study offered by the Morris County Vocational School District for high school and beyond. The presentation will be held at the Randolph Township Public Library, 28 Calais Road, on Feb. 11 at 7 p.m.
The Morris County Vocational School District offerings include:
- Academies – Full Day (8th grade students apply between mid-September through the end of November)
- Share Time – Half Day (10th grade students apply between mid-December through March)
- Continuing Education – (adult education programs offered in the evening and on Saturdays)
Programs cover a variety of skilled trades such as automotive service, carpentry, plumbing and cosmetology, as well as paths of study in math, science, engineering, culinary arts, animal science, global commerce, education and learning, computer science and information science, among others. Continuing education also is offered for those interested in enhancing career skills or moving in a new career direction – part-time courses in trade areas, including apprenticeship classes and programs that lead to national certifications and licensing.
