DENVILLE, NJ-- Denville's Town Council met on May 10 for a workshop session, but gave their thanks to Denville Deputy Clerk, Kathy Costello.
Costello is set to retire in June after 30 years of service to the Denville Township community. The council members present took their time to thank Costello for her hard work and dedication, before presenting her with flowers and a gift certificate.
"Thank you Cathy for the endless hours you have put in," Council President Chris Golinski as he summed up his thanks.
Mayor Tom Andes spoke about Costello after the meeting, highlighting just how hard she has worked over the last few years.
"She's one of the first here and helps run the department with expertise. She's one of the original members since I was elected and she will be dearly missed," Andes said.
The council will meet again on May 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall.
