Morris County School of Technology Holds Share Time Information Session for High School Students

Denville, NJ – The Morris County School of Technology in Denville will be holding an Information Session for their Share Time High School Programs on Tuesday, January 19 at 6:00 PM in the Cafeteria, Building One.

Interested sophomores and their families are invited to learn about our two year half day programs, providing students the opportunity to receive daily career and technical education training as part of their junior and senior year high school program.

Additionally, students and parents will have the opportunity to tour the facilities, learn about the application process, and admissions criteria.

Morris County School of Technology offers the following Share Time programs: Auto Body Collision Repair, Automotive Service Technology, Carpentry, Fundamentals of Building & Grounds Maintenance, Fundamentals of Food Services, Fundamentals of Retail & Supermarket Careers, Engineering Design and Advanced Manufacturing (in partnership with County College of Morris), Computer Aided Design and Drafting, Cosmetology, Electrical Trades, Plumbing and Pipefitting, and Welding.

Fundamentals courses are special class programs designed for students who require a smaller class size.

Students in 10th grade may apply via online application at www.mcvts.org under Admissions>Application Form> Share Time Programs tabs.  The application deadline is April 4th.

Share Time programs are half-day sessions providing juniors and seniors in high school the  opportunity to receive daily career and technical training as part of their school program.

The Morris County Vocational School District (www.mcvts.org) offers programs for Morris County high school students, including Career Academies, Share Time Programs, and Adult Education programs.
