DENVILLE, NJ - The Morris Hills Regional District Board of Education approved the spring sports schedules and made a change to the summer reading program at Monday night's meeting.
The Lady Golden Eagles softball team has its first home game scheduled for April 4 against Randolph, while varsity baseball team will face Wayne Valley for its home opener April 9. The girls lacrosse team will host Montville High School on April 12, while the boys open the season at home against Gov. Livingston on April 1.
The students at Morris Hills and Morris Knolls will also see a change in their summer reading program. The board voted to change the One Book, One School program to include many books around a similar topic for this summers reading program. Students this summer will be reading about the holocaust by exploring books like "Night," "The Journal of Helene Berr" and "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas."
The next meeting of the Morris Hills Regional District Board of Education is scheduled for March 14 at 7 p.m. at Morris Knolls High School.
