DENVILLE, NJ-- The Morris Knolls varsity Field Hockey team came out strong against Morris Hills on Sept. 10. The Lady Golden Eagles were able earn themselves a victory with a shut out over Morris Hills by a score of 2-0.

The Golden Eagles soared past Morris Hills with the help of junior goal keeper Cyndy Vuong. Vuong came up with five saves for the Eagles to claim the shut out. During the first half of the game, Emily Blum scored the first goal to put Knolls up 1-0 against Hills, assisted by Danni Caby. 

During the second half of the game, defense was strong for the Golden Eagles. The girls kept Hills out of the goal and added a second goal to insure the win. The second goal was scored by Sierra Seeley, assisted by Carly Moran. 

The girls will play against Montville on Sept. 17 at home at 4:00 p.m. The Eagles will then take to the road for a game against Pope John in Sparta on Sept. 19 at 10:00 a.m.
