DENVILLE, NJ - Morris Knolls football, and girls and boys cross country saw action over the weekend in respective New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) sectional tournaments.

Six-seed Morris Knolls football fell to three-seed West Morris Central, 42-0, in the quarterfinal round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 Tournament on Fri, Nov 8, in Chester, New Jersey. The Golden Eagles end their 2019 season with 4-5 record

The Morris Knolls boys cross-country team took eighth place in the semifinal round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 1, Group 3 Tournament on Sat, Nov 9, at Garret Mountain in Woodland Park, New Jersey. The Golden Eagles averaged 18:38, scoring 214 points in the 16-team race.

The Morris Knolls girls cross-country team placed ninth in the semifinal round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 1, Group 3 Tournament on Sat, Nov 9, at Garret Mountain in Woodland Park, New Jersey. The Lady Eagles averaged 23:14 and scored 230 points in a field of 16 teams.
