DENVILLE, NJ-- The Morris Knolls Golden Eagles have a lot to be proud of, between improving records from previous seasons and making the state finals in many sports. Morris Knolls can add on to that pride when they accept the NJSIAA Sportsmanship Award in the coming weeks.

The award is voted on by the competing teams in the National Division. The award goes across all sports and the coaches take input from their players. Among the items that determine the Sportsmanship Award are behavior, participation, team work, and the coaches behavior.

Morris Knolls won out of teams from Randolph, West Morris, Roxbury, and Parsippany Hills. Athletic Director Ken Mullen said just how proud he was of his student athletes and coaches.

"This is an incredible honor. The student athletes are always something to be proud of, but this just adds icing on the cake," Mullen said.
