DENVILLE, NJ – After eight years of wandering from one rental property to another, the Denville Board of Education and administrators of the Denville Township School District now have a new home on the second floor of Denville Town Hall at 1 Saint Mary’s Place. The ribbon-cutting occurred on Monday, Sept. 17.

According to Steven Forte, superintendent of schools for Denville Township, the school district staff had been without a permanent home since 2010 when their former offices in the old schoolhouse on 501 Openaki Road fell in disrepair and became inhabitable.

Not quite large enough to accommodate the entire school district staff, the new digs house eight employees, including Forte, Assistant Supervisor Sandra Cullis and Business Administrator Damaris Gurowsky. Three members of the Office of Special Services are located at Riverview Elementary School. Forte can be found in his new office Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
