Morristown, N.J. – This year’s QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning will feature exciting family activities, including the new JCP&L interactive photo booth, where attendees can commemorate the event and “share the energy” of the festival with others.

The festival takes place July 24-26, 2015, at the Solberg Airport in Readington, N.J.  The festival will feature two ascensions of up to 100 hot air balloons each day, along with music and family entertainment, crafters and vendors, fireworks and more.

Attendees who use JCPL’s photo booth can snap a fun photo with family and friends using the simple, interactive kiosk, with the option to wear utility lineman-themed props, such as hard hats, safety gloves and tool belts.  Participants will receive a complimentary printed copy of the photo to take home.  To share the fun with others, they will also have the opportunity to post the photo on their Facebook or Twitter profiles, or send the photo via email or text message.

Festival hours are Friday, July 24, 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Saturday, July 25, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; and Sunday, July 26, 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.  For additional event information, entertainment schedule and to purchase tickets, visit www.balloonfestival.com.

The Truth About My Reading

The Truth About My Reading

I didn't get my Composition and Literature teacher at Montclair State College at all. A crusty old man with a dour disposition, Mr. Smith always seemed angry and rude. He appropriately intimidated freshmen, even me, an English major, who found this common core course beneath my dignity. Frankly, as a graduate of Highland Park High School, and a survivor of Mrs.
