DENVILLE, NJ -- Saint Clare’s Health Denville Hospital announced that it experienced a fire from an air handler on Mon Apr 12. The morning fire impacted one portion of one building, according to the statement.

"As required, some patients were transported to other areas of the hospital, and patients in the Emergency Department were transported by our EMS to the Dover Hospital," the announcement stated. "There were no injuries."

The hospital praised the work of the Denville police and fire departments as well as other first responders from surrounding towns.

The Emergency Department is now open to the public.
