DENVILLE, NJ-- On April 11, Denville Police responded to a possible burglary in the Lake Arrowhead section of town. During the couse of the investigation, no signs of forced entry were observed. A total of approximately $25,000.00 worth of items were found to have been stolen from the residence. Upon investigating the crime, Denville Police spoke to several individuals who had access to the house on a regular basis, including house cleaner, Lucerito Osorio-Garcia (also known as Sury Osorio).
A few days later, Denville Police responded to jewelry stores and checked their pawn records for items recently sold. In one of the jewlery stores records, Denville Police discovered that Lucerito Osorio-Garcia had sold several items that belonged to the victim on two seperate occasions for a large profit. After the victim made a positive identification of these items as being the items stolen from their residence, Osorio-Garcia was arrested and charged with theft. Osorio-Garcia was unable to post her $25,000.00 bail and was transported to Morris County Correctional Facility, with a pending Morris County Superior Court date.
