DENVILLE, NJ – A Randolph woman who lost her license after her second driving while intoxicated conviction was caught driving anyway on Sunday, one of two Randolph motorists charged by Denville police that day.

The woman, Jessica Gould, 35, was pulled over on Franklin Avenue after police saw her pass by “with an equipment violation,” they said. It was then determined that Gould’s driver’s license was suspended and she was the subject of an active warrant, police said, noting “Gould was currently suspended for her second DWI.”

She was charged with driving while suspended, failure to maintain vehicle lamps and driving while being suspended for a second DWI, police said. Gould was processed and released after posting bail and given a state Superior Court appearance date, police said.

The other Randolph resident, 23-year-old Michael Martin, was stopped on Route 10 when police noticed several motor vehicle violations, they said. During the stop a “strong odor of marijuana” was detected, police said, and a search revealed marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Police said Martin was processed, charged and released pending a court date.

The next day, Denville police charged a Dover man with hindering apprehension, driving while suspended, driving while using a cell phone and failing to provide a driver’s license.

The man, Edguin Figueroa, was pulled over on East Main Street, police said. They said he initially lied about his name to avoid being charged. Figueroa was released, pending a court date, after being charged, police said.
