DENVILLE, NJ - An effort by Denville Social Services to help underprivileged local families with school supplies will continue until Aug. 21.
The project, which began Aug. 1, provides a number of places where generous people can bring school supplies and gift cards (to Target, Walmart or Staples): Mt. Tabor Foodtown, Flowers by Candle-Lite, Denville Hardware, Denville Vacuum & Appliance, Provident Bank, True Value Hardware, Denville Dairy, Denville Library and the Social Service office at Denville Town Hall.
Social services is collecting all kinds of school supplies, from backpacks to smocks. These will be distributed to familes registered with Denville Social Services prior to the start of the 2018-2019 school year.
