DENVILLE, NJ-- Winter Storm Jonas knocked Morris County off it's feet during Jan 23 and 24, causing the tri-state area to come to a complete stop.

In Denville, Jonas dumped over 2 feet of snow to dull the Hub of Morris County to a stop during the early morning hours on Sat. Luckily, Denville faced few power outages. Denville Police kept the residents informed via Nixle and urged residents to stay off the road. 

Clean up and digging out began on Sun. morning with neighborhood kids and plow trucks clearing streets. Jason Lezcano, Denville Fire Chief, reminded residents to clear pathways to any fire hydrants. The Denville Schools and Morris Hills Regional are also taking precautions, operating on a 2 Hour Delay on Jan. 25.
