Youth Fishing Challenge on June 9th in Rockaway Credits: Al Thomas

All youth are invited to the NJ Division of Fish & Wildlife’s Youth Fishing Challenge on Saturday, June 9th.  This is a statewide “free fishing” day – no licenses required.

Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts are hosting at Parks Lake, 73 Academy St. in Rockaway, 8:00 am – noon.  You will meet Scouting leaders and learn about the fun awaiting your son or daughter in Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts.  Boys & girls who join Scouting that day will receive a free fishing kit.  Prizes will be awarded!

You must be registered and present at noon to receive your prize.  This is a catch and release event.  Volunteers will measure all fish and release.
