PARSIPPANY, NJ -- On Thur, Nov 21 from 6-7:30 p.m., elementary and middle school students and their families will have a special hands-on opportunity to explore the wide world of work, all while enjoying games, giveaways and goodies. That's when Parsippany Library will host Career Carnival for Kids, a new program to cultivate "career curiosity" among young people with many different interests.

This free event is open to everyone and will showcase occupations across a range of industries, including aviation (Morristown Airport), healthcare (Goryeb Children's Hospital), engineering (HNTB and American Society of Civil Engineers), law enforcement (Parsippany Police and Morris County Sheriff's Office) and more.

Kids interested in nutrition and cooking will meet (and eat) with ShopRite and Red Lobster, while sports and fitness fans can learn about careers in wellness with Lakeland Hills YMCA. STEM-focused students will talk tech with Code Ninjas, and those interested in design and manufacturing will see cable in a whole new light with Carl Stahl Sava Industries.
