The notice further stated that the playground equipment will be cleaned periodically but will not be sanitized. Consequently, visitors to the playgrounds enter at their own risk.

According to the township's announcement, the Gardner Field Playground will open as soon as additional safety protocols can be established and gatekeepers arranged to further protect the health and safety of its visitors.
