DENVILLE, NJ – Boy Scouts of America, Patriots’ Path Council, will be honoring six Denville residents at the third annual Denville Good Scout Awards Dinner on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at the Zeris Inn in Mountain Lakes at 6:30 p.m.
John Bartolotta, Harry Fahrer, Liisi Lascarro, Brigitte Mesa and Wesley Sharples will be recognized for their community service and leadership in the community and their embodiment of the values of the century-old Scout Oath and Law in their personal and professional lives. Albert R. Green will receive special acknowledgment for his 60 years of service to local scouting.
Bartolotta is the Denville CERT leader and a member of the Denville Fire Department. Fahrer is the director of Community Outreach at St. Mary’s Church and a former scoutmaster of Troop 118. Lascarro is the founder and manager of Denville Farmers Market. Mesa is co-owner of Two Girls Media, a freelance writer and community volunteer. Sharples is the emergency manager of Denville Township, and Green is the scoutmaster of Troop 17.
Christopher Golinski, a 2018 Denville Good Scout awardee, will serve as this year’s dinner chair.
Denville is a part of the Boy Scouts of America, Patriots’ Path Council, which serves 17,000 youths in more than 400 scouting units throughout Morris, Middlesex, Somerset, Sussex and Union counties.
