DENVILLE, NJ -- Denville residents should prepare for hazardous weather overnight and into Friday afternoon, said weather officials from the National Weather Service.

According to the weather service, a flood watch is in effect until 2 p.m. on Friday. Tonight some storms could produce heavy rainfall and winds as high as 35 mph. One to two inches of rain possible, they said.

On Friday, showers are likely with a thunderstorm possible.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high of 69, said the National Weather Service.
