DENVILLE, NJ – The Denville Police Department issued an advisory to let Denville residents know that JCP&L will be conducting emergency repairs to a utility pole and power lines in the Fox Hill Road and Route 53 (East Main Street) area, Tues, Nov 26. Accordingly, approximately 600 customers in the immediate area will lose power around 9 a.m. for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Approximately 130 of these customers will remain without power for up to five or six hours while the work is being completed. An additional power outage affecting all 600 or so customers will occur again at approximately 3 p.m. for a duration of approximately 20 minutes to finalize the repairs.

Individuals affected by the power outage and in need of any emergency services, including patients who may be on in-home oxygen therapy or other medical devices, should call the police department for assistance. For a true emergency that requires an immediate response, call 9-1-1. Otherwise, call the dispatcher using the non-emergency number, 973-627-4900, ext. 9.
