DENVILLE, NJ -- Superintendent Steven Forte announced that the Denville Public School District has been advised that a parent of a Denville student tested positive for the coronavirus. According to Forte, the parent and student have been self-quarantined, and the student has not exhibited any symptoms.
"The Department of Health and our school physician have been consulted," Forte stated. "At this time they are not recommending any further action. Please understand that no additional information related to this case can be provided by the Denville School District however, the district continues to keep the health and safety of the community as its top priority," he continued.

Forte also reminded everyone that schools are closed Mon., March 16 through Fri., March 27. Flexible Instructional Days will start on Tue., March 17, with more information to follow either later today or over the weekend.
