PEQUANNOCK, NJ – The Wells Fargo Bank on Route 23 in Pequannock was robbed Thur., Sept. 26, and police are searching for a lone white male who successfully obtained an unspecified amount of cash, according to a release from the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

At approximately 10:45 a.m. Sept. 26, the man, described as older with a possibly fake black beard, walked into the bank and demanded money, according to the release. He was wearing dark-colored pants, a dark-colored Adidas hooded sweatshirt with white stripes on the arms, a dark-colored ball cap and glasses.

Pequannock Police, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigations Unit, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the FBI are investigating.
