NEW JERSEY — The New Jersey State Police is looking for individuals to join its force.
The agency offers more than 120 career paths with specialized training opportunities. State Troopers earn an annual starting salary of almost $65,000 with pension, health and life insurance benefits for 14-day work months. There currently are 4,000 enlisted and civilian members of the State Police.
Applicants must be at least 21-years-old and younger than 35-years-old. They must meet educational requirements, pass a physical qualification and medical and mental health screenings, be a United States citizen and have a valid driver's license. A background investigation on all recruits will be conducted.
Applications must be submitted online before midnight on Friday, April 23.
