MORRISTOWN, NJ -- The Third Annual Law Enforcement Night, hosted by the New Jersey Coalition for Education and Positive Choices (NJC4EPC), will take place Friday, March 1, at 7 p.m., at the Mennen Sports Arena in Morristown. Officers and police departments from all over New Jersey will be in attendance.

Law Enforcement Night affords youngsters a firsthand opportunity to engage positively with law enforcement officers in their communities as well as consider careers in public safety. Children will get a chance to explore the array of machinery on display, ride the horses provided by the Park Police, see the Morris County Hope Van, jump in ambulances and emergency vehicles, wear riot gear, try on handcuffs and engage the law enforcement community in a fun, friendly atmosphere.  

Compromised of elected officials, law enforcement officers, educational leaders and concerned citizens, NJC4EPC endeavors to increase awareness of current trends in the drug epidemic and foster a positive lifestyle for youths by disseminating relevant information to parents, family members and the community.
