DENVILLE, NJ – Mendham defeated Morris Knolls boys soccer, 1-0, in overtime on Thur., Oct. 3, in Denville.

Morris Knolls goalie Sam Babicz faced four shots on goal and saved three.

The inability of the Golden Eagles offense to penetrate Mendham’s defense stood in stark contrast to its 4-0 performance against Kittatinny on the road just 24 hours earlier. Against Kittatinny, four players, Cole Dewees, Andrew Sceurman, Jake Mendelsohn and Dylan Kaye, sent the ball through the net. Three players, Dewees, Kaye and Bobby Egner, earned assists. Babicz made two saves.
