DENVILLE, NJ – A repeat stellar performance by Emily Mitarotonda garnered the Morris Knolls girls basketball team a third straight victory when it defeated neighboring Morris Hills 55-27 on Jan. 22.

again scored 21 points, which included three three-pointers and four free throws. Defensively, she grabbed three rebounds and had five blocks.

Annie Nolan netted two three-pointers toward her 10-point total.

Returning to the lineup after attending a soccer tournament in Florida, Maddison Perna and Kate Walsh contributed six points each. Constantly on the prowl, Perna stole the ball six times.

Morris Hills’s highest scorer, Mackenzie Creighton, accumulated 10 points. Next in line, Mackenzie Novack had seven.

Now 7-7, the Golden Eagles will host Montville on Thursday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m.
