DENVILLE, NJ – The Morris Knolls boys and girls soccer teams played Randolph on Tue., Sept. 24, and the boys defeated their opponent on the road, 1-0, while the girls tied theirs at home.

For the boys, Andrew Sceurman scored the game’s sole goal, assisted by Riley Van Orden in the first half. Sharing goalkeeping duties for the Golden Eagles, Sean Boen had five saves, and Sam Babicz stopped six.

For the girls, Morris Knolls goalie Katelyn Walsh made nine saves, as did Randolph goalie Ellie Scianclepore. Knolls had 13 shots on goal compared to Randolph’s 10.

Morris Knolls boys (5-3-1) next face Delbarton (8-0) at home on Thur., Sept. 26, at 4 p.m.

The Lady Eagles (2-4-1) travel to Chatham (6-1) on Thur., Sept. 26, for a 4 p.m. start.
