RIDGEWOOD, NJ – No. 10 seed Morris Knolls girls basketball fell to No. 2 seed Ridgewood, 45-23, in the quarterfinals of the New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association state tournament in Ridgewood on Wednesday, Feb. 27.

Six Ridgewood players put points on the board versus Morris Knolls’s four. Emily Mitarotonda earned the most for the Golden Eagles with 12. Team Captain Maddison Person netted six, Gabby Perna three and Brianna Mennella two.

Ridgewood’s Annie McCarthy scored 15, the game high.
