EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -- At this year’s East Brunswick Day, an annual event that brings together community residents, officials and businesses, TAPintoTV spoke with several attendees and participants. The event, which is in its sixth year, was held at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center and included local vendors, nonprofit organizations, township programs, local government, youth organizations and entertainment.

East Brunswick Mayor Brad Cohen discussed how the event showcases the town of East Brunswick. “It’s an opportunity for us to celebrate our businesses, our organizations and many of the township programs,” said Cohen. “You can have an interchange and learn about the opportunities we have in town.”

“Everybody wants the same thing, no matter where you live,” said Nancy Pinkin, Assemblywoman, NJ District 18. “They want good schools, they want good jobs, they want their business to survive, they want to live in a safe community and they want everybody to get along,” she said. “That’s what we strive for in New Jersey.”
