Think Tank with Steve Adubato,” a new show featuring four-person roundtable discussions, will debut this weekend on local PBS stations, such as NJTV and Thirteen. The program brings together thought leaders, innovators and experts from a variety of fields to explore the critical issues, trends and challenges facing society today.

The genesis of “Think Tank” was born out of the current political climate leading up to the 2020 presidential election, and the desire to stand out from other political shows, which have become predictable and focus too heavily on personality and argument, said Executive Producer and Anchor Steve Adubato.

“We decided that we would actually do a program about issues that matter, about things that affect people’s lives,” Adubato added.

The first episode focuses on the future of the Democratic Party and will feature four New Jersey Democrats who range in their ideas from centrist to left-leaning. In a spirited and engaging conversation, Adubato and his guests will focus on issues such as the New Green Deal, taxing wealthier Americans, health care, infrastructure, and whether or not to impeach the president.

“Think Tank with Steve Adubato” premieres Saturday, May 11 at 8:30 a.m. on NJTV, and 12:30 p.m. on Thirteen.
