EDISON, NJ - Assemblyman Patrick Diegnan and Assemblywoman Nancy J. Pinkin formally announced the start of their re-election campaign to the New Jersey General Assembly.
“I look forward to a positive, issue oriented campaign,” said Diegnan (D-South Plainfield). “Nancy and I are proud of our record and our vision for the future of our great state. We ask our opponents to join us in having a positive campaign focusing on moving New Jersey forward.”
“Our record stands fighting for the middle class and all residents of Middlesex County,” Pinkin (D-East Brunswick) added. “I have dedicated my first term towards expanding access to quality health care, working with the business community and state officials to create jobs and economic opportunities for our commercial sector, as well as making college affordable, which will ultimately impact every family in our state. Together, Patrick and I are working together on strategies to improve the quality of life for New Jersey residents.”
Diegnan and Pinkin represent the Middlesex County municipalities of East Brunswick, Edison, Helmetta, Highland Park, Metuchen, South Plainfield and South River.
Diegnan is the Chair of the Assembly Education Committee. In addition, he sits on the Assembly Economic Development Committee and serves as Vice Chair of the Assembly Consumer Affairs Committee.
