EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The East Brunswick baseball team scored six runs in the third inning and went on to a 9-6 victory over J.P. Stevens on Monday.

Tyler Burnham collected three of undefeated East Brunswick's 11 hits, scored two runs and knocked in two. Ryan Flynn and Nick Clemente each had two hits and an RBI for the Bears (8-0-1).

Winning pitcher Chris Cap threw five shutout innings, yielding just four hits and no walks and striking out two.
