LINCROFT, NJ — The East Brunswick baseball team bounced back after a Tuesday loss with an 8-2 victory on Wednesday in the second day of pool play in the statewide Last Dance Tournament in the Lincroft Region at Christian Brothers Academy.

Bryan Bellantoni pitched a complete game, allowing one unearned run. He struck out eight batters and walked two.

The Bears' offense was Led by Damien Charleston, who was 3-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI. Bryan Chan had a double and drove in two runs. Ryan Turzani also doubled in a run to add to East Brunswick's 10-hit attack.

In the final day of pool play on Thursday, the Bears will play Freehold Township at 10 a.m. at Hockhochson Park in Tinton Falls.
